#008 – Reconnecting Macros

08.15.2017 by pohhu //

Don’t be romantic with what has worked, optimize to grow.

An eventful week. Tweaked my calories & macros. Progressed further bodyweight training. Reconnected with like minded buddies.  I never restructured my diet since I hit my goal weight. After hitting the goal I continued on regularly without strictly tracking macros & calories. It was maintainable. After starting exercise for over 6 months now the old weight cut diet plan isn’t viable anymore.

This episode I go through the new food plan, and reconnecting with buddies who have  become a support group in a short amount of time.

#004 – The Eats

07.18.2017 by pohhu //

I’m on a 90% whole food plant based diet.

I went from normal diet that consists of weekly fast food to giving up the majority of meat. I love food is an understatement. I don’t just love eating. I love shopping for raw ingredients, cooking dishes from scratch, restaurant hopping for new tastes. Street food to fine dining. A whole food plant based diet may seem inhumane, but the truth is I’ve never enjoyed & appreciated food more than I do now.

This episode I go through the journey of going from a normal everyday diet to vegan, and ultimately a whole food plant based diet.

#003 – The End Game

07.11.2017 by pohhu //

The finish line is when I die.

Weightloss & exercise are stops along the journey. This whole health pursuit is a stop along the journey. I have recognized that health is the prerequisite to all my other goals.

In this episode I go through the big picture, building the ultimate foundation. I touch on motivation, goal setting, diet vs lifestyle change, striving for the journey rather than the end result.
